“Freaks & Geeks” creator Paul Feig is reuniting with that show’s producer, Judd Apatow, for a new Kristen Wiig ‘Wedding’ Comedy.

The untitled project, which tells of ”two women battling to plan their friend’s wedding party”, was written by “Saturday Night Live” fave Wiig.

You’ll recall that “Flight of the Choncords” co-creator James Bobin was offered the chance to direct the flick a few years back, but ultimately decided to go with Disney’s proposal to man the new “Muppet” movie.

Some may say Feig, who also directed the comedy “Unaccompanied Minors”, might be a better fit anyway – especially considering his history with comedy king Apatow.
