In-demand Hollywood typist Oren Moverman (“The Messenger”) will scrawl a draft of Universal’s long-gestating Kurt Cobain biopic.

The flick, which “Wolverine” scribe David Benioff previously took a stab at penning, will be based partly on material found in Charles R. Cross’ 2001 biography, “Heavier Than Heaven: A Biography of Kurt Cobain.”

In addition to adapting material from the book, Moverman traveled to Seattle and Aberdeen to meet friends and associates of the late Nirvana singer.

Moverman would also direct the film.

Cobain’s mrs, Courtney Love, is an executive producer on the flick.
