Anthony Hopkins (“The Wolfman”) will battle demons in Mikael Rafstrom’s Supernatural Thriller “The Rite”, says Heat Vision.

Adapted from Matt Baglio’s book, and reportedly based on true occurences, the flick will center on “a disillusioned American seminary student who attends exorcism school at the Vatican and ultimately finds his faith through encounters with demonic forces.”

Hopkins, seemingly hell-bent on cramming his career’s Twilight years with as many popcorn flicks as possible, will play an unorthodox priest whose specialty is exorcisms.
