Australian actor Andy Whitfied has been diagnosed with Cancer.
The actor, born in Wales but raised down under, who rose to fame as the titular character in the low-budget Aussie thriller “Gabriel”, and who now stars on the hit series “Spartacus”, has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and will begin treatment immediately, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I’m receiving excellent care, and am feeling strong, positive and determined with an army of support behind me,” Whitfield said.
“Spartacus”, which was due to begin filming it’s second season shortly, has been temporarily put on hold.
Our best wishes to Andy. Get well soon, man!
