Former “Terminator : Sarah Connor Chronicles” star Summer Glau has joined the cast of NBC’s superhero-themed series “The Cape”, according to THR.

The Simon ‘Con-Air’ West directed pilot fixes on a former cop (David Lyons) who is set up as a criminal and becomes a masked hero, the Cape, to clear his name.

According to the trade, Glau will play ”Orwell, a cute and intrepid investigative blogger who fearlessly goes after corrupt cops and costumed bad guys.” And yeah, apparently she’ll also get into a few fights – news that should please her many fans.
