According to IESB, Sony are considering Josh Hutcherson (“Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant”, “Journey to the Center of the Earth”, “Zathura”) for their next big-screen web-slinger (which, just for the record, isn’t someone who hurtles tomatoes at Moviehole or Aint it Cool News!).

The young actor, who is said to be on the “short list” for Sony’s “Spider-Man” reboot, is said to have been “getting into crazy shape as of late”, reports the site, suggesting the chap’s feeling pretty confident about his prospective date with Mary-Jane Watson.

Frankly, I’ll be glad when this who could-be should-be would-be “Spider-Man” casting craziness is all over.
