The always-dependable Rachel Weisz (“The Brothers Bloom”, “The Constant Gardener”) is set to play Jackie Kennedy in [her future husband] Darren Aronofsky’s film, “Jackie”.

Entertainment Weekly says the feature, which Aronofsky will also produce, “catalogs the four days between Kennedy’s assassination and his burial, showing the beloved Kennedy at both her most vulnerable and her most graceful.”

With Weisz and Aronofsky onboard, plans for the flick to premiere on TV have naturally been shelved in favour of a wide-scale theatrical release.
