Sony Pictures has officially announced production on “Men in Black 3-D”, with the next instalment of the alien-snatching series scheduled for release May 25, 2012. Pascal’s pad have also confirmed rumours that Josh Brolin is in talks to play a young ‘K’ (the character Tommy Lee Jones, who would also be back, plays in the “Men in Black” series) in the Barry Sonnenfeld-helmed threequel.
The new film will see ‘K’ and ‘J’ (Smith) travel back in time to 1969 – where they encounter the younger incarnation of the former.
Meantime, Producer Jerry Bruckheimer tells Coming Soon that Will Smith will also be back for a second sequel to “Bad Boys”.
“It’s a wish and a hope and a dream. We’ve been working on a screenplay, which is excellent. It’s an idea Will gave us, so hopefully, it will come to fruition, we would love it to.”
With Smith foresee-ably booked up for the next couple of years, “Bad Boys 3″ won’t be happening anytime too soon.
