The delightful Lauren Graham (so good on Jason Katim’s new small-screen “Parenthood”) revealed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this week that she’s joined the cast of director Wes Craven’s “Scream 4″.

Graham, best known for her long-running role on the WB’s “Gilmore Girls”, will play the lead character’s (Emma Roberts) mother in the flick.

The actress joins Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, and Lake Bell for the 2011 release.
