Six Green Lantern Pictures!

Bit late putting these up (but thanks to Warner Bros and a few comic-book loving Watchmen that checked in to remind me to do so!) – been on a mission to add even darker circles under my eyes this week, what with working on both Comic-Con and a client, who we’re negotiating a deal with Universal for, so unfortunately updates have been a little later than usual – but like young Jim discovered in “American Pie”, all good things come to those wait!

First up, the image that leaked last night (about 1am my time, while I was combing through a contract and popping Tylenol) of Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan as The Green Lantern as Abin Sur’s successor! Yup, that’s the Justice League-r himself, kids! This little beauty premieres on the cover of Entertainment Weekly today.

A pal at the mag has also sent across scanned pictures from the article inside the issue – featuring Reynolds, Tim Robbins, Peter Sarsgaard, and Blake Lively (Love that girl! She’s always wonderful to talk to! But no Blake, you can’t have my MP3 player!) in their “Lantern” guises. Sadly, no more shots of Mr Johansson in his emerald stockings! Sure to be some more shots, if not video, surfacing of the lime-tainted protagonist at Comic-Con next week! We will keep our eyes peeled! Meantime, feast your peepers on these delicious snaps!

“The Green Lantern” starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Temuera Morrison, Jenna Craig, Jon Tenney, Tim Robbins, and directed by Martin Campbell (“Goldeneye”, “Casino Royale”, “The Mask of Zorro”) is released June 2011.
