Riley Keough, Lisa-Marie Presley’s daughter, is apparently interested in doing something her grandfather never quite perfected – acting.

Fresh from playing Cherrie Currie’s sister in watered-down Currie/Jett bio “The Runaways”, the filthy rich model is in talks to join the cast of Dr. George Miller’s “Mad Max Fury Road”.

According to Heat Vision, Keough would play ”one of the “Five Wives,” a group of women that Hardy must protect from the bad guys. Zoe Kravitz, Teresa Palmer and Adelaide Clemens are three of other wives.”

(NB : Just something about the last sentence. Last we’d heard Teresa Palmer had balked at the idea of doing the film. Has something changed? Have carrots been dangled? Or has the trade simply got it wrong?)

“Fury Road” takes place shortly after Max’s battle at Thunderdome. “Inception” star Tom Hardy reprises the role made famous by Mel ‘Sugar tits’ Gibson.

Filming begins early 2011.
