Bradley Cooper is the new Dwayne Johnson

Bradley Cooper is the new Dwayne Johnson

“Green Lantern” star Ryan Reynolds and (“Green Lantern” short-lister Bradley Cooper) are set to team on an untitled action comedy from Oscar Nominee Sheldon Turner (“Up in the Air”). This is the same flick that Reynolds and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnston were attached to about five or six years ago (then called “Blowback”).

Risky Business says, “The story follows two friends, who are also San Francisco cops, whose fathers were once partners on the police force. The older generation is forced out of retirement to help their sons crack a case, with typically antagonistic results.”

The pic is said to be in the vein of “Lethal Weapon” – a hard-R actioner with giggles.

Neal Moritz is one of the producers on the film so it’s safe to say the untitled flick will be fast, flashy, moderately funny and none-too-deep.
