Lost‘s Locke and Linus reunite for new series!

Caffeinated Clint September 20, 2010 Movie News

I think it goes without saying that, aside from the wacky but compelling story lines, the putty that held the bricks on TVs “Lost” together were the bravura performances – in particular those of Terry O’Quinn and Michael Emerson, playing the show’s most shadowiest, John Locke and Benjamin Linus. Very solid, very memorable performances – not to mention characters.

“Lost” creator J.J Abrams isn’t prepared to let Locke and Linus, or rather O’Quinn and Emerson, walk into the light just yet. He’s pinned the duo down to star in a new black-ops agent drama/comedy, according to Vulture.

(Watch me do a cartwheel!)

The project, tentatively titled “Odd Jobs”, was written by ”Alias” and “Mission : Impossible 4″ cohorts Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec. Assumingly, the duo played veteran agents who are either still working the field or reactivated for duty. Expect lots of boisterous, bloody fun banter.

Not surprising, considering the pedigree, various studios are already expressing interest in snagging the series.

Just last week J.J Abrams sold the series “Alcatraz” to FOX.
