Trailers for Human Centipede 2, True Grit

IFC has provided us with a teaser for “The Human Centipede 2 : The Full Sequence”, due out 2011. While Warner Bros has released the trailer for “True Grit”, the highly-anticipated ‘Rooster Cogburn’ reboot starring Jeff Bridges in the ol’ John Wayne role (what a great movie that original film is!).

The Human Centipede 2 : The Full Sequence

Tom Six’s sequel just wrapped shooting in London, and the story is being kept completely under wraps. The only information IFC Films and the producers are revealing is that this time there is a new villain on the scene named Martin and that the premise is 100% medically inaccurate!

Tom Six’s “The Human Centipede” (“First Sequence”) opened in spring of 2010 as one of the most talked about, and cringed about, horror films of the year.”First Sequence”, featuring an obsessed doctor who surgically joins his unsuspecting victims together, was one of IFC Films’ biggest on-demand successes of all time and continuously sold out midnight screenings nationwide. “First Sequence” premiered at Fantastic Fest in 2009, receiving the awards for Best Horror Film and Best Actor, and also took home Best Picture at the 2009 Screamfest LA. Recently the film has been nominated for Best Villain and Most Memorable Mutilation for the 2010 Scream Awards, which air on October 19th. In conjunction with this year’s Fantastic Fest, “The Human Centipede” (“First Sequence”) will be re-released on video on demand, just prior to the October 5th standard DVD and Blu-ray release of the film.

Meantime, here’s the teaser for the sequel :

The Coen Bros’ reunite with Jeff ‘The Dude’ Bridges for the highly-anticipated remake of a John Wayne classic we’ve all seen many times…. and still love. Can they top the original? You never know! This does look pretty darn great! Matt Damon also stars in the film too, so it’s definitely got some weighty talent behind it!
