Randy Couture has joined the ensemble cast of the heist thriller “The Set Up”.

The wrestler turned actor (most recently seen in “The Expendables”) tells MovieWeb that he’ll “play a very angry, interesting gangster [named] Pete” in the Mike Gunther directed film.

The movie centers on a group of friends who suddenly become involved in a diamond heist.

“The Set Up”, shooting in Michigan, stars Bruce Willis, Paul Walker and Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson.

Couture and Willis will reconvene on the set of “The Expendables 2″ early next year.
