TERESA PALMER AND JOEL EDGERTON CONFIRMED TO STAR
IN SAY NOTHING
Teresa Palmer and Joel Edgerton are to star in SAY NOTHING, the feature directorial debut of Kieran Darcy-Smith. Shooting will commence in Sydney in December, with filming continuing in Cambodia in January 2011. A psychological drama/mystery, SAY NOTHING will also star Felicity Price and Antony Starr and is produced by Angie Fielder.
SAY NOTHING tells the story of four friends who lose themselves in the fun of a carefree South East Asian holiday. Only three come back. What happened on that fateful night when they were dancing under a full moon in Cambodia?
Kieran Darcy-Smith is an award-winning screenwriter and the director of acclaimed short films including Loaded, Bloodlock and The Island. He is also known for his performances in films such as The Square, September and Two Hands. He comments: “Joel and Teresa round out an incredibly exciting team for us. We’re lucky to be working with such a remarkable group of talented artists, cast and crew, who are giving their all to ensure that this little-film-that-could becomes all that we truly believe it can be.”
Producer Angie Fielder comments: “It is so exciting to be embarking on this project with Joel and Teresa on board. Both are possessed of enormous talent and their rising international profiles will draw significant attention to SAY NOTHING.”
Written by Kieran Darcy-Smith and Felicity Price, SAY NOTHING is an Aquarius Films production, in association with Blue Tongue Films, and is supported by Screen Australia, Screen NSW and Fulcrum Media Finance. Hopscotch Films will release the film in Australia and New Zealand and international sales will be handled by LevelK.
