Thanks to Sharmill Films and Cinema Nova, we have 5 double passes to giveaway to Melbourne-based readers to see The Asylum’s Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus on the big screen! (Yes, you heard right – the BIG screen!)

Coming to Cinema Nova’s Late Night Cult Cravings, Mega Shark from Giant Octopus from US B-movie specialists The Asylum has a title that just says it all! A YouTube sensation, the trailer has 3 million views and counting.

Directed by Jack Perez and starring 80s pop star Debbie (Deborah) Gibson and Lorenzo Lamas from early 90s classic action series Renegade, this is B-grade schlock at its best (and worst).

Unexplained incidents are occurring all over the Pacific Ocean as a group of rebel scientists figure out a prehistoric megalodon shark and a giant octopus have been unleashed thanks to an illegal military operation. Now, the scientists must destroy the sea monsters without annihilating the rest of the world in the process.

The Cinema Nova in Carlton, Victoria is enjoying a huge success with its Late Night Cult Cravings hit The Room. Described as ‘The Citizen Kane of Bad Movies,’ The Room has found audiences who love films that are so bad that they’re good. Mega Shark versus Giant Octopus is tipped to be the next cult classic with Australian audiences as it season begins on Boxing Day. The Room continues showing in late shows every weekend.

To Win : Send on your name and address to me here – and remember, Melbourne residents only. First in, best dressed!
