Exclusive : Kennedy in Mob movie

With his series “Ghost Whisperer” headed into the light and the “Scream” series forging ahead without Randy (The character die bite it in “Scream 2″ after all), where’s Jamie Kennedy’s next revenue stream? (well besides his new comedy DVD which, I must say, is rather funny!)

May have the answer. Kennedy is attached to star in a new action/comedy called “Mob Inc”.

“It’s a new comedy, sort of in the vein of Mickey Blue Eyes, with Kennedy and a whole heap of familiar gangster film regulars – like Vincent Pastore”, I was told over email this morning.

No word on a start date. For all we know, it could still be a ways off, but could be a nice fit for the “Scream” and “Malibu’s Most Wanted” actor when it does happen.

Kennedy’s just completed work on a new WWE films action movie called “Bending the Rules”. This one’s about a crooked New Orleans cop who an attorney is hellbent on taking down. Kennedy co-stars opposite Jennifer Esposito, Alicia Witt, Philip Baker Hall and Kevin Weisman.
