Ben Affleck and Matt Damon helped fill the cast roster on some of Kevin Smith’s earlier films, so no surprise really to hear the duo are likely to appear in Smith’s final (yes, he’s announced he’s retiring after this one) film “Hit Somebody” – if even briefly.

In a live chat with MTV, Smith says the cast of his upcoming hockey movie will likely consist of much of the cast of his latest flick “Red State” as well as many of his past go-to guys.

”They’re all coming back” Smith says of those who’ve appeared in his past films. “It’s like The Muppet Movie. you’ve got your core cast, and then a zillion cameos… It’s going to sum everything up. We’ll have a team in Boston, and who do you think I’m going to call? Both of those dudes.”

So who from the View Askew back catalogue would you like to see pop up in “Hit Somebody”? Chris Rock? ‘Pie Fucker’? Joey Lauren Adams? Tracy Morgan? those crazy ‘Clerks’? Eliza Dushku? Jason Lee? What about that shit monster?
