If one yells ‘Don’t do it!!’ into their monitor… do the speakers need to be set to 11 for the receiver to hear the message?

Ryan Murphy, don’t do the “Annie” remake.

“Glee” is refreshingly original, “Nip/Tuck” was a saucy, sexy and somewhat suspenseful cabler with class… “Annie” is, well, a waste of your fine talents sir (just as “Eat Pray Love” was). Just another remake, as far as I’m concerned.

Sure, Will Smith is producing, so you’ll be in the company of box office royalty, and I know Willow Smith (who will play Annie) has her fans, but it just doesn’t seem much of a gig to me.

If you must remake something, do over “Eat Pray Love” again – without the gunky coating.
