Elizabeth Hurley (last seen leaving Shane Warne’s cul-de-sac Blackberry relationship) will play the villain in NBC’s new “Wonder Woman”.

According to Deadline, the “Austin Powers” and “Bedazzled” star will play ”Veronica Cale, the beautiful, highly educated head of one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the country who is afflicted with serious deep-seated Wonder Woman envy”.

Adrianne Palicki is playing Diana Themyscira/Wonder Woman in the David E Kelley created revamp. Pedro Pascal (“The Good Wife”) and Tracie Thoms (“Cold Case”) are also onboard the series playing Wonder Woman’s police buddy and assistant, respectively.

Hurley will be a great asset to Wonder Woman. Or rather, Hurley brings to the show two great assets.
