Trailers : Hesher, Johnny English Reborn, Crazy Stupid Love, Warrior, Anonymous

Your friendly neighbourhood co-editor Alicia here… in balmy, beautiful California (but how I miss the blue, unpolluted skies of Sydney). With everyone on the site slammed for time lately, seems we’ve missed a few trailers but having just seen another TV spot in which Moviehole is again quoted (yay!) I thought I best play catch-up. Here’s the trailers we’ve missed over the past few days! Twist the speaker knob, sit back a bit from the computer (we don’t want your eyes to strain) and remember there’s a pause button for the bits you want to watch – hello Ryan Gosling! – again and again.

The one I was alluding to above – with Ryan Gosling. Shirtless. Also featuring in this fun little romantic-comedy are Steve Carell, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone and Marisa Tomei.

Co-written by David Michod and produced by Natalie Portman (who also co-stars in the film), “Hesher” looks like it could be one of the more interesting films of the year – but with Joseph Gordon Levitt in it, did you expect anything less?

Rowan Atkinson returns to spoof all things ‘spy movie’ again in, well, a sequel I never thought we’d see. Blessed we are. Or not.

Something very different for Roland Emmerich, director of all those ‘disaster’ movies like “Independence Day” and “The Day After Tomorrow”, a historical drama about Shakespeare, set in the Elizabethan times.

While we await the “Fighter” sequel (that Mark Wahlberg says is coming) here’s another fine-looking sparring film to hold us over. Joel Edgerton and Tom Hardy are undoubtedly great in this…

The upcoming Chris Evans starrer has an all-new ‘Australian’ trailer – to go along with that pretty domestic one – and I’m betting one look at it and you’ll be pre-booking your tickets.

Captain America: The First Avenger – Theatrical… by Paramount_Australia

And finally, for both Clint and I – huge ‘Beastie Boys’ fans – check out this awesome ‘all-star’ trailer for “Fight for Your Right”. Check out the cast in this!

Alicia Malone is a Film Reporter, TV Host, Producer, Writer, Editor, and all around movie geek. She developed her taste for film at a young age, spending many a heady Friday night pajama-clad at the video store, picking out her 7 films for 7 days for $7. Bargain! While at school she created a Film Club, electing herself President. Eventually the School Principal asked her not to get up in assembly to talk about movies anymore.
