“Prometheus” star Michael Fassbender tells HeroComplex that he’s having a great time exploring his character – and the sets. “I walk on the set and I feel like I’m walking on a spaceship,” Fassbender said. “It’s breathtaking. All the various panels and screens and it’s just dealing with a top-notch art department and carpenters and the riggers and everything that goes into putting that together. It’s just, well, breathtaking, all of it.”
“Social Network” actor Josh Pence is set to play Ra’s Al Ghul in flashback sequences for “The Dark Knight Rises“. Says THR, “The story line has also been kept locked up in the Batcave but Pence’s casting throws more than a few crumbs to follow. Ra’s Al Ghul was played by Liam Neeson in Batman Begins, thus paving the way for a possible return of the supposedly dead character. Also, while the studio never confirmed Cotillard’s character, it has been rumored to be that of Thalia Al Ghul, the daughter of Batman’s mentor-turned-enemy. Sources say Pence will appear in scenes that take place 30 years prior to the present story.”
Zach Galifianakis has pulled out of “R.I.P.D“, the Robert Schwentke directed supernatural comedy that would’ve teamed the “Due Date” star with Ryan Reynolds as undead police officers. Scheduling problems prevented the bearded funnyman from taking part. (More…)
