Comic-Con :

Colin Farrell stole the show at the “Fright Night” panel at Comic-Con (just as well since the film’s not exactly tracking through the roof).

A recap of the “True Blood” panel, in which Alan Ball discussed Season 5 (more supernatural creatures coming? What’s left? Bigfoot?), is up here, while there’s an interesting piece on the “Walking Dead” (Season 2) panel here.

Relativity Media has unveiled the first pic of Lily Collins as Snow White in the untitled 2012 release; the flick also stars Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer.

The new “Beavis & Butthead” was previewed at Comic-Con.

At Comic-Con, “Spider-Man” star Rhys Ifans denied rumours he’s involved in the next James Bond film.

A rundown of the “Underworld Awakening” panel from Comic-Con is online.

Promo work for “The Avengers”, unveiled at Comic Con, are online here and here

The logo for Guillermo del Toro’s next film “Pacific Rim” is online

The trailer for “Dexter : Season 6″ is online :

Elsewhere :

Seth Rogen and Zac Efron in an untitled action comedy for Universal? Yep. Rogen plays a regular guy who lives near an alpha male fraternity house. Efron is a member of the fraternity, whose raucous behavior wreaks havoc on the other guy’s family life. Sold.

Simon Hunter (“Mutant Chronicles”) has been set to direct ”Last Blood”, a live action adaptation of the Keenspot graphic novel that takes place after a zombie apocalypse.

Alex Aja will executive produce and possibly direct the pilot episode for a new “Scanners” TV series that Dimension are developing.

Charlie Kaufman has Steve Carell, Jack Black And Nicolas Cage onboard his next “Frank Or Francis”; atypical of a Kaufman film, the project’s plot is shrouded in secrercy.

Pierce Brosnan and Annabeth Gish will star in A&E Network’s “Bag of Bones”, a two-night, four-hour mini-series, based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel. King-regular Mick Garris will direct.

Imogen Poots (“Fright Night”) will play a young woman who meets Jeff Buckley while working at the concert in “Greetings from Tim Buckley”.

One-time ‘Bourne’ contender Oscar Isaac has been cast in “Bourne Legacy” - but as “Number 3,” another brainwashed assassin in the film.

There’s a pic of ALL the dwarves that feature in “The Hobbit” here

Bill Pullman will replace Harrison Ford in a telemovie sequel to “Presumed Innocent”. “Innocent”, based on the book by Scott Turow, will see Judge Rusty Sabich (Ford) charged with the murder of his ex-wife.

The trailer for Robert Pattinson’s new movie “Bel Ami” is online

Kenny Johnson (“The Shield”) has joined the cast of NBC’s “Prime Suspect” reboot.

Jon Seda (“The Pacific”) has been cast as Sly’s partner in “Bullet in the Head”

Classic Trailer of the Day

It only makes sense we show a classic ‘Comic Book Movie’ trailer, what with Comic-Con here in full-swing…
