Mark Wahlberg’s got yet another project in the works: Deadline says he’s in talks to star in a Universal police/mobster movie “2 Guns”.

According to Deadline, the flick written by Blake Masters (“Brotherhood”) is based on a graphic novel about a drugs enforcement agent and an undercover naval intel officer investigating each other for dodgy dealings with the mob.

David O. Russell was originally attached to direct, and apparently he had his sights set on Vince Vaughn for one of the leads- but they’ve both since pulled out.
