“Fargo” and “Prison Break” star Peter Stormare is in talks to play the villain the Arnold Schwarzenegger comeback vehicle “The Last Stand”.

Kim Jee-Woon directs the pic, which stars the former Maria squeezer as the sherriff of a small town that butts heads with an escaped drug cartel that’s headed for the Mexican border.

Variety says Stormare, who has also played rogues in such films as “Bad Boys II” and next year’s “Hansel and Gretel : Witch Hunters”, would play Burrell, a war vet who is commissioned by the main villain to lead an eight-man crew and take out the sherriff and his team.

Earlier today, it was reported that Schwarzenegger would also play a “substantial role” in “The Expendables 2″.
