Guess those things I’ve been hearing about the “Sherlock Holmes” sequel are a little off-base – or even if they’re not Warners are still convinced the Christmas offering is going to make a pretty penny. Deadline says the studio is already in the “Sherlock Holmes 3″ business, setting Drew Pearce to write the screenplay.
Pearce has been working on “Iron Man 3″, another Robert Downey Jr offering, and – those it isn’t stated in the article – assumingly got a look-in because of his current working relationship with Downey on the comic book movie sequel.
Guessing the third “Holmes” won’t be on the case until Summer 2013.
