In Hollywood on Saturday the green carpet was rolled out of the world premiere of “The Muppets”, the Jason Segel starring/co-written relaunch of those popular felt creations Jim Henson beamed into our living rooms each week on ‘The Muppet Show’.

A group of Muppets, including Kermit, Fozzie and Gonzo (As well as ‘Walter’, the new Muppet introduced in the film) were driven down the carpet in a jeep; more appropriately, Miss Piggy was chauffeured in by limo.

The human stars of the film, including Segel, Chris Cooper, Clint’s old friend Amy Adams, Rashida Jones and Neil Patrick Harris, didn’t require a ride up the carpet, let alone a hand up their bottom.

What a lovely premiere it was though! And here’s some highlights of it we assembled!
