Season 6 of one of Fox’s most successful crime dramas – ”Bones” – is perhaps the most engaging season yet.
The first episode opens with all members of the Jeffersonian’s team of ‘squints’ engaged in their own separate pursuits – and being called back from various far-flung locations in order to save their boss Camille’s job.
It soon emerges that during the team’s separation, Booth (David Boreanaz) has found himself a girlfriend, Hannah – much to the dismay of partner-in-solving-crime, Temperance ‘Bones’ Brennan (Emily Deschanel). To add to the excitement, it is also announced that Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Hodgins (TJ Thyne) are expecting the arrival of their first child; and of course, the revolving door of regular ‘squinterns’ are back for another season.
The season slowly reaches fever pitch as it becomes clear that Booth and Bones both still have feelings for one another, with the season ending in a delightfully unexpected way.
Bonus features include commentary on “The Doctor in the Photo” and “The Blackout in the Blizzard”, a Featurette called “Breaking Down: The Blackout in the Blizzard”, featurettes, deleted scenes, and a gag reel. Great stuff, actually.
