Out doing press for “The Muppets”, for which he wrote many of the songs, “Flight of the Conchords” star Bret McKenzie hints at the possibility of possibly seeing Bret and Jemaine on the big screen soon.

“We’re gonna try and do a movie”, the actor tells Collider. “We just need a story.”

McKenzie also has a small role in “The Hobbit” but wasn’t giving anything away, other than it “looks incredible. I’ve never seen anything so massive.”

He’s referring to the sets, I believe, not PJ’s package.

Think “Flight of the Conchords” could work on the big screen?
