Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight Rises” swoops into multiplexes mid-year and, if the impressive IMAX-only prologue was anything to go by, it’s sure to be a spectacular ride. Christian Bale’s Batman goes head-to-head with Tom Hardy’s Bane, also along for the ride are Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Michael Caine as Alfred, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, and Matthew Modine as Nixon – no, not that one. And if you haven’t already seen it, WB has issued the trailer.

Oh, and WB have also released a trailer for “Wrath of the Titans”.
