Lindsay Lohan is in talks to play screen legend Elizabeth Taylor in a new lifetime original movie ”Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story”, chronicling the enduring love of movie icons Taylor and Richard Burton.
Deadline says Larry Thompson (”Amish Grace”) will produce the telemovie, one of the few acting gigs troubled Ms Lohan has been offered in recent times.
Admittedly, Lohan is a good choice for the equally-freckly, outspoken and beautiful Taylor but I shudder to think who they can cast as Burton!? Russell Crowe would be a good pick, but as if he’s going to slum it in telemovieland.
