Selma Blair has snagged the role of the therapist in Charlie Sheen’s new “Anger Management” sitcom, says THR.
Though rumoured for weeks, and even championed for the part by her winning co-star, the deal papers were only just signed.
Blair, known for her roles in such flicks as “Cruel Intentions”, “Legally Blonde”, “Hellboy”, and “The Sweetest Thing”, joins Shawnee Smith, who plays Sheen’s ex-wife, on the sitcom. Blair’s previous sitcom, the yankee version of “Kath & Kim”, bombed like a fat man in a hotel pool.
There’s some racy stuff in the show between Sheen and Blair, including a little tryst in her office, that should get tongues wagging.
Having read the pilot script, I can tell you a little more about the aforesaid characters and the plot of the new series… but that’s over here.
