Morgan Freeman is joining Tom Cruise in the post-apocalyptic blockbuster “Oblivion”, says Deadline.

Co-starring Olga Kurylenko (the sweaty, sexy lass from “Quantum of Solace”), the Joseph Kosinski-directed flick sees Cruise play the last man on a post-apocalyptic and nearly uninhabitable Earth, who stays behind to repair ships that hunt down and blast a virulent alien species.

Jeff Sneider from Variety tweets that Freeman’s character is Malcolm Beech, a resistance leader on Earth.
