With the “Star Trek” sequel underway, it was bound to happen.
If it were 1982, we’d be seeing set pics of a pointy-eared Kirstie Alley splashed across stone tablets, but in this case it’s the contemporary cast of the film franchise that have had their mugs captured on camera – while working.
Some new set pics from J.J Abram’s sequel have hit the net, including this one of a dressed-for-gym Spock on set.
These here were published a couple of days back, pics featuring Spock battling new villain Benedict Cumberbatch, as well as an armed-and-ready Uhura.
J.J Abrams, as expected, is none-to-pleased that someone took these pics and uploaded them online.
Zoe Saldana (Uhura) tells MTV News, “J.J. was very upset,” she said. “I have to say that. It’s not going to stop people from intruding, but they are, and it’s such a bummer because it only hurts them by stealing away the surprise.”
True, but doesn’t mean we won’t all be lining up for seconds and thirds when the Enterprise zooms back into cinemas next year!
