Retired (*cough*) actor Leonard Nimoy is set to make an appearance – well, kinda – on CBS’s high-rating “Big Bang Theory.” My old mate Michael Ausiello says, “that the Star Trek icon will fulfill Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) lifelong dream when he makes a cameo in the show’s March 29 episode. But there’s a catch: Nimoy will be heard, not seen. According to an insider, Nimoy will speak to Sheldon, as Spock, in a dream sequence. ” (TV Line)

Deadline says the show, “centers on Polly (Chalke), a recently divorced single mom, who moves in with her eccentric parents, Elaine (Perkins) and Max, a couple who’s full of life but knows no boundaries. I hear that the role, originally written a bit older, has been reworked for Perkins.”.
