Firstly, Lionsgate have released a new clip from “The Hunger Games” – which, if you haven’t already heard, is tracking better than “Twilight” did. In the clip, Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss sharpens up her archery skills. The clip also features “American Beauty” alum Wes Bentley.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler (“The Sopranos”) is set for Jimmy Fallon’s new comedy pilot (tentatively known as “DILFS”) about ”three 30-something guys enjoy the adventures of parenting despite the fact they haven’t grown up themselves. Tony’s lil’ girl will play one of the boys’ wives. (Deadline)

Principal photography has been completed on “The Firstling,” This new psychological thriller/ghost story stars Rebecca Da Costa (“Freerunner,” “Seven Below”), Milo Ventimiglia (“Heroes,” “Rocky Balboa”), Andie MacDowell (“Sex, Lies & Videotape”), Gabriel Macht (“Suits,” “Love and Other Drugs”) and Academy Award Winner Louis Gossett, Jr. (“An Officer & A Gentleman”). “The Firstling” was directed by award winning director Peter “Gaga” Antonejevich (“Savior”) and written by Nissar Modi. “The Firstling” was shot entirely on location in Savannah, GA and was produced by Peter D. Graves (“Killer Elite,” “Terminator Salvation”), David Jones (“Dr. T. and The Women”) and Warren Ostergard (“Freerunner”) under the TinRes Entertainment production banner. “The Firstling” is a modern day ghost story about a pregnant woman who fears she will lose her baby unless she does the unthinkable to avenge a wrathful entity.

Former “Buffy” actor cum in-demand screenwriter Danny Strong (“Game Change”, “Recount”) has been tapped to pen the third installment in the “Da Vinci Code” series. Ron Howard, who directed the previous two films in the Tom Hanks-starring movie series, will produce. Mark Romanek will likely direct. (Deadline)

Goldie Hawn’s big TV comeback? Not happening. The ex-“Laugh In” girl was set to star in HBO’s “The Vagina Monologues”, created by “Sex and the City” alum Darren Starr, but has exited for unknown reasons (though the press spin has it that it was a mutually agreeable split between star and series). (Deadline)

Minnie Driver is set for the new NBC series “Lady Friends”, of which Andrea Anders is already attached. ”The Warner Bros. TV-produced project is about two life-long female friends who are living very different lives but couldn’t live without each other. Nicole (Anders) has everything going for her. Her best friend, Jen (Driver), has parents who have no faith in her, terrible instincts that led her to a 17-day marriage to a guy who dumped her, and she gained 15 pounds on the cabbage soup diet. And yet, somehow, she is Nicole’s rock.” (Deadline)

“Safe House” helmer Daniel Espinosa is set to helm ”The Outsider”, a WB actioner about “a POW in Osaka in WWII who goes to work for the Yakuza.” (Deadline)

“Crank” co-star Amy Smart has joined the cast of “Bad Girls”, playing one of a group of women doing time in a federal prison (Zap2it)

Matthew Perry is returning to NBC, the home of “Friends”, for a new sitcom called “Go On”. Perry will play ”An irreverent yet charming sportscaster who tries to move on from loss and finds solace from the members of his mandatory group therapy sessions.” (THR)

Four new character posters for Uni’s “Battleship” have been released.

The main character in the second season of “American Horror Story” will be Jessica Lange’s Constance (EW)
