Hugh Dancy is set to play FBI Agent Will Graham in the small-screen version of ‘Manhunter’ (the movie that preceded “Silence of the Lambs”), titled “Hannibal”.

Dancy (“The Big C”, “Ella Enchanted”) plays the role William L.Peterson played in the 1986 film that introduced audiences to the character of Hannibal Lecter, says THR.

The 13-episode NBC series, written and executive produced by Bryan Fuller, chronicles the relationship between Hannibal ‘The Cannibal’ Lecter and Graham, his long-time adversary.
