Lore

Dwayne Johnson (“Journey 2 : The Mysterious Island”) is starring in Warner Bros’ feature film adaptation of the graphic novel. Penned by Cory Goodman and Jeremy Lott, the screenplay has been described as “Men in Black with mythological creatures.” Paramount and Sony were also interested in the picture, but WB pinched the ribbon. (THR)

Internship

As previously rumoured, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn will be reteaming for “Internship”, with the “Wedding Crashers” duo playing “two old-school salesmen who, finding themselves suddenly unemployed and passed by in the digital world, try to reinvent themselves by becoming interns at a major tech company.” “Night at the Museum” helmer Shawn Levy directs. (THR)

The Chelsea

“Like Crazy” actress Felicity Jones will star in the Hallie Meyers-Shyer scripted/Nancy Meyers directed “ensemble dramedy set in the Chelsea Apartments in New York City.” (Deadline)

Fast Six

Remember those rumours that suggested Jason Statham might join the cast of “Fast & Furious 6″? Apparently they were true – only it didn’t come off; the “Crank” star wasn’t interested in being a part of the Vin Diesel/Dwayne Johnson starrer. (Twitch)

The Counselor

Brad Pitt, his Mrs Angelina Jolie and Javier Bardem are circling Ridley Scott’s film adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel. Michael Fassbender plays the lead role of “a respected lawyer who thinks he can dip a toe into the drug business without getting sucked down. It is a bad decision and he tries to hang on to survive it. It has been called No Country For Old Men on steroids.” (Deadline)

Oldboy

Sharlto Copley (“District 9″, “The A-Team”) is in talks to play the villain – a kidnapper who holds the lead character, played by Josh Brolin, hostage for some fifteen years – in the Spike Lee directed remake. (Variety)
