Exclusive : Moretz on her Carrie audition

Chloe Moretz recently signed on to play the title character in director Kimberly Peirce’s remake of “Carrie”.

The actress, out promoting “Dark Shadows”, tells me that she’s going to have to take a bit of a vacation after the film because of how exhausting she imagines it’s going to be playing the telekinetic character at the center of Stephen King’s book. Moretz also speaks about the full-on audition she had to do for the movie.

“Carrie”, due out Spring 2013, will also star Julianne Moore as Carrie’s mother.
