Brad Bird seeks Lost co-creator’s help in getting back to 1952

Brad Bird will follow up “Mission : Impossible – Ghost Protocol” with the Damon Lindelof (“Lost”) written “1952″.

The Hollywood Reporter says Lindelof is penning the script with Entertainment Weekly writer Jeff Jensen. The plot is under wraps but it’s said to be an “epic tentpole”.

Bird, who cut his teeth directing CGI fare “The Incredibles” and “Ratoutille”, made his live-action directing debut on the latest “Mission : Impossible”, which has now grossed over $700 million worldwide.
