Rachel McAdams is returning to the time-travel genre, says THR.

The “Time Travellers Wife” star has inked a deal to front Richard ‘Love Actually’ Curtis’s next, “About Time”, which tells of a “man and his ability to travel back in time. He eventually meets the girl of his dreams.”

Curtis wrote the script, and will direct the film. Domhnall Gleeson, son of actor Brendan Gleeson, will play the male lead. Bill Nighy, Tom Hollander, Margot Robbie, Lydia Wilson and Vanessa Kirby will also star.

McAdams, last seen in “The Vow”, would play the “dream girl”, a part Zooey Deschanel was once eyed for.
