“Expendables 2″ co-stars Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham will reunite on “Homefront”, says ScreenDaily.

The film isn’t a two-hander, it’s actually something Sly wrote and Statham will star in. Assumingly it started out as something Sly wrote for himself but passed off to pal and fellow expendable Statham.

The project, announced at Cannes, will be produced by Millennium Films (also the home of “The Expendables” series). Sly also retains a producing credit.

Gary Fleder (“Kiss the Girls”) will direct the action picture.

Homefront centres on a DEA agent who moves his family to a small town and comes out of retirement when his family and the local community are threatened by drug traffickers.
