In addition to one-time “Home & Away” star Chris Hemsworth (the man himself), “Rome” star Ray Stevenson and “Luther” actor Idris Elba, former “Chuck” star (and the voice of Flynn Rider in “Tangled”) Zachary Levi could also be headed for Asgard.

According to THR, Levi is in talks to join “Thor 2″, playing the character of Frandal, whom Josh Dallas played in the first film.

With Dallas committed to TV’s “Once Upon A Time”, playing Prince Charming, the Alan Taylor directed picture is forced to recast the part of one of the Warrior’s Three in the movie. Solution? Cast the actor who was originally going to play Frandal first-time around but had to pull out due to a clash with his series commitments at the time.

Levi, who also starred in “Alvin and the Chipmunks : The Squeakuel”, has not yet begun negotiations but an offer is said to be imminent.
