We have another “Anchorman 2″ on our hands by looks. And hopefully that is the case because it means despite the fact that Jim Carrey has now gone cold on “Dumb & Dumber 2″ as a result of Warner and New Line’s lack of enthusiasm, things will hopefully come back round again (just as it did with the on-again, off-again, now officially-on “Anchorman” sequel).

But at this stage, Carrey says he’s pulled out of the sequel due to the studio’s blah response to doing the film. And if Carrey is out, so is Jeff Daniels.

A sentiment seemingly reinforced by a statement exclusively obtained when ETOnline reached out to the actor’s publicist for comment. In addition to confirming the story, Carrey exclusively tells ETOnline, “I would have thought Dumb and Dumber To was a no-brainer, after all it’s implied in the title.”
