In a recent interview, “Bourne” producer Frank Marshall said if he could swing it, he’d team Matt Damon and Jeremy Renner – the stars of the franchise – for the next instalment in the movie series.
Speaking to Crave at Comic-Con, Damon was asked whether reprising Jason Bourne is something he’d be interested in. And seems, despite suggestions a couple of years ago that the actor had finished with the character, he would be keen, material-depending.
“Look, I’ve been interested in doing another one for five years,” Damon, at Comic-Con to promote his new film “Elysium”, said. “We just can’t figure out the script.”
“I’m up for it, but again it’s all about the script,” Damon said. “It’s got to be a good one.”
The latest in the series, “The Bourne Legacy” is the first without Damon.
