Kristen Bell is headed into Sam Elliot-territory, stapling on the swimmers to play a Lifeguard in a new Liz W. Garcia flickeroo, Deadline report.

Cutie Bell, still widely-recognized for her role as teen dick “Veronica Mars”, would play “Leigh, a reporter on the verge of 30 who abandons her life in New York City, returns home to get her high school job as a lifeguard, and starts a dangerous relationship with a 16-year-old delinquent” in the unimaginatively-titled “The Lifeguard”.

The flick shoots in Pittsburgh this month.

Bell’s latest flick/videotaped-road-trip-with-boyfriend-Dax is the comedy “Hit-and-Run” which looks alright to decent.
