Like a storyline straight out of the show itself, Aaron Sorkin has reportedly fired most of the writing staff from “The Newsroom” going into the show’s second season. “They’re not coming back, except for Sorkin’s ex-girlfriend [Corinne Kinsbury]”, a source tells The Daily.
Speaking of “The Newsroom”, the show will launch Foxtel’s new channel ‘SoHo’ when it goes live in August. “Newsroom” premieres Monday August 20, 8:30 PM. SoHo, which replaces the ‘W’ Channel, will also air new episodes of “Damages” and “Boss”.
