Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones”) and Jared Harris (“Sherlock Holmes : A Game of Shadows”) will co-star with Lily Collins in “The Mortal Instruments”.

Jobs available in “Newsroom”

Like a storyline straight out of the show itself, Aaron Sorkin has reportedly fired most of the writing staff from “The Newsroom” going into the show’s second season. “They’re not coming back, except for Sorkin’s ex-girlfriend [Corinne Kinsbury]“, a source tells The Daily.

Speaking of “The Newsroom”, the show will launch Foxtel’s new channel ‘SoHo’ when it goes live in August. “Newsroom” premieres Monday August 20, 8:30 PM. SoHo, which replaces the ‘W’ Channel, will also air new episodes of “Damages” and “Boss”.

Eisner’s “Armstrong”

Breck Eisner has been confirmed as the poppa of “Stretch Armstrong”. The “Sahara” helmer will direct someone other than Taylor Lautner – no longer attached sorry gals! – as the stretchy sod.
