Territory Exclusive : Cloud Atlas First Look, Stills Gallery & Director’s Commentary

Earlier today, we got our first visual squiz at Tom Hanks, Halle Berry and a Green Room’s worth of other famous faces in the first official images released from “Cloud Atlas”, the feature film adaptation of the David Mitchell literary yarn, from filmmakers Tom Twyker and the Wachowskis.

Now, in an Australian exclusive, we’ve got the complete slideshow of images – sans watermarks and in full, beautiful high-resolution coloury goodness! – for your mouse pointer to make out with.

“Cloud Atlas” explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.

The film’s all-star cast includes Oscar Winner Tom Hanks (“Charlie Wilson’s War”), Halle Berry (“X-Men”), Jim Broadbent (“Bridget Jones’s Diary”), Hugo Weaving (“V For Vendetta”), Jim Sturgess (“Across the Universe”), Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw (“Skyfall”), James D’Arcy (“Wanted”), Xun Zhou, Keith David (“The Thing”), David Gyasi, Susan Sarandon (“Elizabethtown”), and “Bridget Jones”‘ beau Hugh Grant. Lana and Andy Wachowski (“Speed Racer”, “The Matrix”) direct alongside Tom Twyker, of “Run Lola Run” fame.

And because we’re in a spoilering mood, a director’s commentary, as well as an extended first look at the film lie below :
