Now here’s a match made in cinema heaven : Cameron Crowe and Emma Stone.
The “Almost Famous” and “Jerry Maguire” helmer will direct the rising superstar in a new untitled comedy set to go into production in the Spring.
Deadline, who broke the news, say the tone of the film is said to be more reminiscent of Crowe’s biggest commercials hits, rather than the more off-kilter fare he’s done in recent years – like “Elizabethtown”. Like most of Crowe’s pics, it’s a two-hander – so, in other words, a love story set to the tunes of an AM Radio Station Playlist.
Expect plenty of Carpenters tunes, cuteness and Croweing.
